IELTS, International English Language Testing System, is an international individual certification on a candidate’s level of  knowledge of the English language. This certification has very high standards and international recognition, therefore this test is the most sought-after in the world.

It was developed by the  IDP IELTS Australia and University of Cambridge  ESOL. IELTS complies with the highest international linguistic assessment standards, which covers the four main language  skills: listening, reading, writing and oral communication.

This certification is usually needed to work abroad..

 

 IELTS is available in two modules: Academic and General.
Academic: for those enrolled in an Undergraduate, Master's, or Doctoral degree or for those who aim to have a professional  career abroad.
General: for those who wish to work abroad with a lower educational degree or those who need a linguistic certification for immigration purposes in Anglophone  countries.

Question format: It has diversification from note completion to matching, gap-fill, flowchart, and many more. These questions are in both listening and reading formats in order to provide   deeper knowhow on their level of understanding.
